Nippon Maru
Built in 1930 and previously known as the "Swan on the Pacific," Nippon-Maru was used for training ship personnel. It is preserved in its original form and the captain's cabin and officers' salon are open to visitors. All 29 sails of the ship are opened for events around 10 times per year. Visitors can experience aspects of seafaring life such as deck washing and sail display onboard the ship and in the attached marine classroom.  This port and shipping museum is situated inside Nippon-Maru Memorial Park together with the sailboat bearing that name.
